Bazza's Bajaj |
|
Here are a few pics of my Bajaj scooter which is known as Bessie Bajaj. I've had her 6 years now and it original cost me £350. Before the Bajaj I had owned 5 Vespas - V100, Sportique, 2 PX125 (one fitted with a 180 kit) and a P200.
Just after I bought the scooter. The seats had to go as the pillion one was beyond repair. Also the jag lights which I used as indicators had to go to get it through it's MoT as they wouldn't pass it due to the red lenses.
It was a lot better to ride after I put the new seat on.
The back rest had to go too as it caught the wind too much.
Bessie Bajaj how she looks today.

Very nice. I like the girl sticker you got on the horncast and the Jaguar fender adornment.

My Bajaj is currently getting a makeover. It's all stripped down now ready for a respray. The frame, headset & mudguard have all been bead blasted. I'm getting a new wiring loom made up, gonna fit stainless steel floorboard runners, got an adaptor so that I can fit on a Vespa exhaust and will be replacing all the cabels and all the nuts & bolts with stainless steel ones. I even managed to find a brand new Bajaj tool box on ebay. Also got a GS style back light (see below)
Now I just need some Jag lights with an amber lens like the ones below as my ones had a red lens and wouldn't pass an MoT.
I'll be posting some before & after photos up on here once the scooter is finished.
