how about another part of the country next year. I know there a quite a few bajaj scooters on the west coast I see at least 1 daily not weekly or monthly and not the same scooter. its just by keeping it in the same state every year it becomes a local rally and not a national rally moving it around like amerivespa, Lammy jammy gives people in other parts of the country the opportunity to be involved. |
Hey...I'm down for a rally on the West Coast too! Let's keep that in mind for maybe the second one!

Bump!
Is this still in the works?
I'd like to help if there's still a chance for KC.
btw,
I thought a swarm of Bajaj was an "emergence," as in collective biointelligence....

I think it would be great if it happens...
Is anyone working on it still?

peeking in on Fists of Curry |

Hi guys!
My husband and I are just sitting around waiting for our son to be born. He's due any second now. I started wondering what happened with the plans. Are you guys going to try and get together this year?
I'm so sorry to have dropped the ball on this! But, you know...knocked up and stuff. It kind of changed a lot of my plans overall!
Hope everyone is having a great summer, lots of good rides, etc.
xo,
Alana

If you love your scooter, let it go. If it comes back, you probably high-sided. |

I assume you're talking about a rally, not another baby.
I think I'll try to pull this off either spring or fall of 2010. It was just too much to do on top of being pregnant and due early September.
So you didn't miss anything yet.

Although I think a bajaj rally is a neat idea, I really don't think the numbers are there. It's hard enough to get people to come out for a regular shifter rally. I think it's a better to just add a bajaj category to a regular rally. I know I sound like a debbie downer on the matter, but it's my 2 cents.

I agree I think having a meet up at one of the major rallies would be easier.

I think enough people would make it. Lets set a date, and plan on Kansas? Spring might be a little soon later would give us more time for work vacation notice.

Nope, memorial day weekend for sure. It's a good thing too, July would be too hot. That may be why they moved it.
