Hi folks,

Writing from not so sunny England at the mo, this seems to be the heartland of anything to do with Bajaj's and hope I can pick up some help here Smile

Bought a 1999 Bajaj Classic SL 2T off eBay and runs superbly... however, the indicator switch has a lug broken off and it is proving to be a real PIA finding a replacement.

I have sent this image for identification purposes to pretty much everyone here in the UK and some think its some sort of handmade setup (one even thought it was a windup), the switch has the Bajaj logo embossed on the underside so its def a factory part but damned if I can find one out there. The right hand switch is a little flaky as well, horn is all but audible, so ideally sourcing a pair would be best but I have no indicators til then.

I also need to source some cowl lamp units...

And it seems here in the UK they are just as hard to find lol

Any ideas folks?

Someone suggested to me I could think about swapping out the current forks for a P range one complete with headset etc, that sounds like a lot of work and isn't the P range 5th wheel tube a different size to the Sprint based Bajaj?

Does anyone have any comprehensive details too of what stock Vespa parts I can slap on this ol' beauty or suggestions on what I should convert to Vespa partage? Its a lovely and very lively machine, goes up to 60 no problem (has an up and over Sports exhaust on it) and handles exceptionally well, the anti dive thing on the front works superbly as well so I want to throw some major love at this machine.

I'm a little rusty at this as my last scooter was a 1961 Douglas (British built Vespa) 152L2 and that was like in 1988, cheers in advance Smile
