A slightly simpler alternative to what rufusswan just said is to right click (in Windows, at least) on the picture in Flickr and select "copy image location." Then just paste that link into your image tags here on the forum.

P.S. - if the resulting URL ends in something like .jpg?v=0 you will need to delete everything following .jpg (i.e. the ?v=0 part).

finally re-figured the pic thing out - thanks to pointers from that damn-helpful-Rufus.
- in flickr, there is also the "share this" link at the upper right. from there if you click the 'embed' choice, you can pick out the piece that you need to paste from there.
it's the part after " src= "

I read several messages but still got lost. I do have photos in PICASA program. I can upload etc. but still could not figure it out how to bring it with my message. Can some one who is familiar with PICASA please provide detailed steps for people like me with limited computer capability? I will appreciate.

Picasa is a neat program, I used it a few years ago on my sis's pc. I assume you have your photos up on picasa.google.com in a web album. If so you can go to there and click 'help' up in the right hand corner of the screen.
Here is a link with (I think) enough instructions to get you started.
http://picasa.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66969
quoted from the site:
"Viewers who click on embedded images in your site will be taken to the photo in Picasa Web Albums.
On the My Photos page, click your album.
Click the photo you'd like to embed.
Click Link to this Photo on the right sidebar.
Set the following preferences:
Select your preferred image size
Select the 'Hide album link' checkbox if you don't want a link to the album to display in the lower right-hand corner of your image.
Copy the HTML (Ctrl-C) in the 'Embed image' field on the right-hand side.
Paste the HTML (Ctrl-V) in the source code for your site.
Viewers who click through to the photo in Picasa Web Album will also be able to see other photos in the album.
These options are unavailable for albums set to 'Sign-in required to view.' Remove the sign-in requirement to have access to these options."
I don't know what you will see in terms of HTML but somewhere you will see something like

To get the photo above to appear in a post you must surround it with the HTML code to download an photo. So you must add [img] before and [/img] after the photo's address, like this:
