My Road Wolf |
|
This was a Bajaj Super FE but now i have transformed into a different piece and the name goes as ROAD WOLF.
The front looks are distinctive. I have not colored the front dash but have put on the radium stickers as they look more shiny and the main purpose is that it shines at night when light falls on it. The goes cool with it. Then for more characteristic looks i have highlighted the border with the red radium stickers. So more typical look. Further more the indicator lights has border with sharp curves, the reason for it is that when looked from a distant it looks like eyes of a wolf, ready for hunting. I have also put a bull logo on its center as to indicate its power. It has a nerve wrecking engine of 125 cc. So i thought the logo of the bull would be just fine. Then there is the sign of Bad and Good to indicate that it has those characteristics.
It has a double mirror for better visibility for the rear and actually it looks good on it too.
Only the Front portion has the sticker on it but the rare side are painted with brush. It has been painted with about 3-4 coats for white and 2 coats for black paint for better finish.
Then coming on to the electronics part. This baby is fitted with state of the art technology starting from beginning since this has an AC electronics, but i have changed it to a DC and fitted with a 12v Lead acid battery. I have simply converted this AC supply through bridge rectification circuit and converted it into a 12v D.C voltage helping to charge the battery as well as to supply the necessary voltage while the vehicle is running.
To monitor the charging of the battery i have added an ammeter in it so that i have a rough idea about the condition of the battery.
The primary supply form the battery are given to various point (i) Scanner Led & Blinking Light (ii) Halogen Lights (iii) Radio tuner (FM). These are the various sources supplied from the battery. Talking each entry in a more detailed fashion.
(i) Scanner Led & Blinking Light.
Here the supply from the battery is directly given to the on board scanner which is fitted at the bock of the dash board. Here the primary voltage of 12V is regulated to 9V by a circuit and supplied to the scanner )scanning light). Through the same branch the 12V is further reduced by a limiter resistant and supplied it to a 5 V regulator circuit and supplied it to the Blinking light. Therefore this completes the scanner and Blinking light part.
(ii) Halogen Light.
Here again this are factory made lights and the 12v DC supply is directly fed to the twin lights through a series connection.
(iii) Radio (FM).
Here the supply is also fed directly to the terminals of the radio and here one additional feature is also given, an antenna is fitted to the rear of the Road Wolf for better receiving in long distant tours.

Definitely loved the lights and the Knight Rider theme song!
I'm diggin' the headlight eyelid thing too...
I've been thinking about putting orange LEDs along the rally stripes on my rear cowls for a little extra night visibility and little extra on the cool factor too...

Ahhhh...my bad...I totally forgot about that show! Either way, I like the Knight Rider lights (even if they're blue) and the Airwolf theme!
