That is one hell of a scooter and it's a shame that it's never been imported to the U.S.
It's easy to work on (the entire rear body just pops off), it's 4 speed and air cooled, and IT'S A FREAKIN' HONDA.
I know an Indian woman who used to have one when she was young. She got it as a hand me down from her dad. She has stories and stories about how awesome and super reliable that scooter was.

I just called Honda Powersports, She was very polite, created a case for bringing the eterno here, said that it would be seen by upper management, Who knows?
It would be cool if they gave me one as a promotional thing, a perpetual motion machine would also be cool and only slightly less likely.

I wonder if some crafty entrepreneur could figure out a way to import it under another badge. Like Genuine does with their scoots. Or would that be too difficult because it is a Honda?

I actually suggested that to Argo Pres. Al K.
we went back and forth a few times about how the shifty market was dead and how it was a niche market etc.
Then he said that no one knew how to drive a manual transmission anymore and brought up the rental cars/trucks all being auto.
He didn't reply when I pointed out that almost all motorcycles are manual shift.
It was a little surreal coming from the guy that imported the Bajaj scooters for so long.

That's too bad. I wonder how the market for Argo scooters is?
