All,
As of midnight at the end of the year 2008 there were 543 registered members of this site. There were two users in 2008 who were banned for posting repetitious advertisements on the board, leaving 541 normal (I presume) members participating. Normal being defined as residing somewhere under the Bell Curve of All Humanity, but not including SPAM posters 
SPAM the nasty, unwanted junk that some wish to post is to be distinguished from SPAM that marvelous canned meat product that we all love.
SPAMing a lot is not to be confused with SPAMALOT that mavelous and witty stage production by those funny Monty Python dudes.
"beststore01" whom appears to be our first new member in 2009 was also our first SPAMMER this year whom I fish-slapped this afternoon so he/she/it/they/them don't count. We are still at 541 and the honour of being the 1st new member of '09 is still open

Not only for being such an excellent Mod but for considering me "normal" as well. I realize it's a pretty loose standard but as they say, it's the thought that counts.
