Shadowrock Annual Spring Swap Meet |
|
Today is a lazy, sunny, loafin' kinda day where ya get to run around a just do .. stuff. It also happens that our local fairground (Forsyth, MO) is not flooded this year so the annual motorcycle swap meet is ON and means that folk have a chance to don their gear and bikes, or cars and go to the lake and screw off
It's an opportunity for me to visit Bill (of Chubby Customs) and he's always happy cause he cleans out his shop of the years spare parts, knocks of about 2G's of tax free cash well you get the picture. Here's a pic of the fairground with a few hundred bikes all lined up.
See that building in the forground? You could'nt see it at all last year at this time. About 16' of water covered everything! I obviously saw all kinds of bikes, from 50cc all the way up. There was one of those "tadpole" Chinese things (two wheels in front, 150cc scooter in the rear) which looked cool but drove away while I was chatting so I didn't get a pic I did get a pic of a Can-Am Spyder which is cool up close, a kit car Cobra (really cool), and a good shot of a comfy child's seat on a big Harley. All in all a great day.

I've seen those Harley seats before, but I've seen similar ones for dogs. They're called Beast Riders!
